The Met Office issued the warning on Sunday 28 November.
Warning period is between 3 pm Sunday 28 November and 10 am Monday 29 November.
The warning states:
Showers or longer spells of sleet and snow should tend to clear this evening. As skies clear, a widespread frost will develop, leading to the chance of icy surfaces in these areas, and also where lying snow has partly melted during the day.
Tonight:
Isolated showers continuing along the east coast through the evening, but dry for most with clearing skies bringing another cold and frosty night. Minimum temperature -2 °C.
Monday:
A generally dry, bright and frosty start. Cloud increasing through the morning with isolated outbreaks of rain arriving into the afternoon and evening, and freshening winds. Maximum temperature 5 °C.
