Welcome in the festive season at Cotgrave Community Lights event

Welcome in the festive season at Cotgrave Community Christmas Lights Event on Friday November 26 from 1.30pm to 6.30pm with fabulous food and gift stalls and entertainment!

Cotgrave Town Council are hosting the festive get together at The Precinct in the town courtesy of funding from the authority and the European Regional Development Fund with festive lights set to sparkle from dusk.

A Santa’s Grotto is available at the event with a chance to meet Father Christmas in Cotgrave Hub library, a kids’ fun fair on the Precinct and over 20 stalls will offer wonderful fashion, giftware, sweets, produce and community efforts.

Music will entertain event goers from local artist Dorothy Ella and busking duo The Moonshiners offering a rockabilly Christmas.

There’s a whole range of food and drink on offer from al fresco dining at the town’s newest restaurant Strezza and Little Horsebox Company offering festive alcoholic and non-alcoholic milkshakes and coffees.

There’s also tasty pie and peas, jacket potato and local regular food vendors ready to tingle the tastebuds!

Whilst many event goers are expected to walk or take public transport, parking is available in adjacent car parks at the rear of the Precinct and Cotgrave Hub car park with access from the Rivermead entrance and there is a Park and Ride site at the local welfare site a short distance away.
