PUBLISHED:

Film favourites Beauty and the Beast and Footloose are the attractions at this Sunday’s (August 11) free outdoor Sunday Cinema at Bridgford Park in West Bridgford.

The adjacent Bridge Field on Bridgford Road is available for parking from 1pm to 9pm for the event at £3 but organisers Rushcliffe Borough Council is encouraging event goers to arrive by public transport wherever possible.

Event goers can sit back and relax on the park to enjoy one of the following films on the day and two further Sundays this month:

Sunday August 11:
2pm – Beauty and The Beast (PG)
6pm – Footloose (15)

Sunday August 18:
2pm – Mary Poppins Returns (U)
6pm – Top Gun (12A)

Sunday August 25:
2pm – Dumbo (PG)
6pm – Dirty Dancing (12)

Parking options for the screenings on Sunday August 18 and 25 will be advertised before each event.

Screenings will still go ahead in inclement weather so visitors are advised to dress for the great British summer!

Parents or guardians accompanying children to the events are asked to adhere to the film’s certification.
