West Bridgford Advice Centre reopens after lockdown closure

The West Bridgford Advice Centre has reopened following closure during lockdown.

For many years we’ve been offering advice and signposting on a variety of issues such as benefits, tax, housing, consumer issues and probate.

We are a drop-in service, open on Wednesday mornings from 9.30 to 12.30. You’ll find us on Stratford Road at the church hall behind St Giles church. We have a friendly team of volunteers with a wealth of experience and offer a warm welcome to anyone who comes through the door. We also have links with other support services if we ourselves can’t help.

Daphne Carter, manager of the centre, says: ‘We’ve had a slow start since re-opening after lockdown, and we know there are lots of people who will be needing help in these difficult times. We have measures in place to make the centre covid-safe, and we hope that anyone who is in need of advice will feel able to visit us.’

Our phone no. is: 0115 982 1475 (this is an answering machine – messages will be picked up on Wednesday mornings)
