Police found a large amount of suspected cocaine hidden inside a plant pot after a tip-off from the public.
Officers discovered 100g of what is believed to be a Class A drug when they attended a flat in Foxfield Way, West Bridgford, at around 12:35 am on Wednesday (7 June).
Weighing scales, drug bags and two mobile phones were also found inside the plant pot.
Officers are now carrying out forensic examinations of the items found as part of their investigation.
Inspector Pete Shaw, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The public helps us out as an extra set of eyes and ears so it is always good to hear about people getting in touch with intelligence like this.
“It has allowed us to seize a large number of suspected drugs, take it out of circulation and destroy it.
“We know the impact drugs continue to have on our communities and that it why tackling drug-related crime remains a force priority.
“I would urge anyone who has information about drug dealing in their neighbourhood to get in touch with us on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.”
