Next week, West Bridgford Dramatic Society performs Orlando, the story of a 16th-century youngster who embarks on an amazing adventure that stretches across centuries.
During this epic voyage, Orlando swaps genders, rubs shoulders with Queen Elizabeth I, and travels to Constantinople in a thought-provoking, fun, and heartwarming journey that explores life, love, and identity.
The play is based on Virginia Woolf’s novel and is adapted for the stage by Sarah Ruhl. Directed by the award-winning Barbara Seymour, the production features five talented actors who play no fewer than 20 characters between them, complemented by stunning costumes and a colourful set.
Orlando promises to be another entertaining and exciting production from West Bridgford Dramatic Society.
