West Bridgford estate agent says Christmas is a good time to sell

With Christmas right around the corner William H Brown have been looking at ways to get the highest amount of interest for new and existing homeowners.

With the December period a notoriously quiet period for the West Bridgford market, Branch Manager Ben Waters believes launching your home at the correct time could be crucial.

Ben said:

“Naturally the period leading up to Christmas is traditionally a quieter time in the local West Bridgford market, this, and the upcoming the Election on the 12th of December not to mention the  continuous uncertainty of Brexit means 2019 will be no different.

“However, we have found that in previous years we have launched a number of properties on Boxing day.

“From the 26th-31st of December we achieve a significantly higher than average clickthrough rate on Rightmove and Zoopla, because many people are off work and have spare time.

“With many estate agents closed during this period we have found that opening on the key dates during this time we have managed to secure high amounts of interest on existing and new homes to the market”.

With Ben and his team priding themselves on an exceptional service from start to finish which is demonstrated with 63 ‘5 star’ Google reviews – they would be more than happy to discuss anything property related with their office on Tudor Square on the Central Avenue.

If you are looking to purchase a home in the near future, Oliver Rowland, who is the local mortgage advisor at William H Brown office is running a series of free mortgage advice days in the New Year where you can visit the branch to discuss anything mortgage related.

Oliver said “It is actually a great time to buy, with interest rates being so low at the moment you can save a lot of money if you are looking to purchase a new home or re-mortgaging your current deal”.
