The West Bridgford event is on this coming Saturday 13 May.
Don’t forget to join in the fun this Saturday 13 May, from 11.30 am to 15.30 pm at the Cottages site on Tudor Road for the 2nd West Bridgford Junior School Community Food Festival.
All the children, teachers and parents have been working really hard, and this year have even more enticing food and drink stalls on offer, as well as live music all day!
There will be lots of activities for children and families of all ages with fun games organised by Trent Bridge, and circus skills workshops run by Helter Skelter Arts!
In addition, the festival is proud to support Guru Nanak’s Mission, which is a Nottingham-based charity that provides free hot meals to the homeless and vulnerable in and around Nottingham.
Their work over the past eight years is needed now more than ever, as they continue to provide emergency food parcels to many in desperate need.
If you can help by donating any non-perishable goods, they are collecting these at the Food Festival on Saturday.
The event is free, and everyone is welcome, so please come along, bring a blanket or chairs to soak up the festival atmosphere, grab some food and a drink from the bar, have some fun and help to support this fantastic cause.
