The exhibition starts today until Monday 24 April.
Following an amazing Joint Art Week between West Bridgford Infant and West Bridgford Junior Schools the children’s work is now been displayed at a special exhibition for this weekend only at West Bridgford Methodist Church, Patrick Road, West Bridgford.
The ‘Pattern in Our Community’ exhibition is a photography-inspired exhibition of art.
The exhibition opens today 21 April and will be open at the following times:
Friday 21st April 15.15-18.30
Saturday 22nd April 15.30 -18.30
Sunday 23rd April 12.30-15.00
Monday 24th April 13.30-17.30
The teachers at both schools have collated all of the pieces of art that the children produced and these are displayed alongside photographs that the children took earlier this year to inspire their piece of art.
Fiona Stevens, head teacher at West Bridgford Infant School said: “It is incredible seeing all of the art work displayed together in the church space. The patterns have a real impact and the result looks wonderful!
“We would like to thank the church for allowing us to use it as an exhibition space, and congratulate all of our children for all of their creative efforts. The display looks fantastic.”
