Police announced increased patrols in West Bridgford park.
West Bridgford Neighbourhood Policing Team would like to welcome the two newest members, PCSO 6146 Nicole Cole & PCSO 6148 Robin Di Miceli.
A spokesperson said:
‘The local community will soon see enhanced safety and engagement efforts in West Bridgford as new Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs) join patrols. This initiative aims to bolster security, foster stronger connections with residents, and ensure that public spaces remain safe and welcoming for everyone.
‘The presence of additional PCSOs is a significant step in improving community policing. Their role includes providing reassurance to park visitors, deterring anti-social behaviour, and engaging with local groups to address concerns proactively. By being visible and accessible, these officers will help create a safer environment where families, joggers, and leisure seekers can enjoy the park with confidence.
Sergeant Sands of WBNPT said:
“Having more PCSOs on patrol at the park is a positive development for West Bridgford,”
“Their presence will not only enhance public safety but, deter ASB and also strengthen community confidence.”
“This initiative reflects a commitment to ensuring that parks and public spaces remain vibrant, secure, and enjoyable for all. Local authorities encourage residents to engage with the new PCSOs, share feedback, and collaborate on maintaining the park as a valuable community asset.”
