The new shop holds an official Grand Opening Party this weekend.
Two years ago ‘dance mum’ Laura Donohoe founded her costume business, Sprinkle with Pixie Dust as Laura was unhappy with the quality of costumes her own daughters were wearing at dance competitions.
Following its successful growth, and with many clients asking if they could provide more than just the costumes, Laura has now opened Pixie Dust Dancewear at 39 Abbey Road, West Bridgford.
The aim is to provide dance parents with all their dance needs in one place.
Catering for all types of dance including ballet, tap, jazz, ballroom, freestyle and Irish, Pixie Dust Dancewear stocks all types of shoes, uniforms, leotards, underwear, hair accessories and more, as well as operating the Sprinkle with Pixie Dust costume business from the new premises.
Pixie Dust also offers a pointe shoe fitting service by appointment and can provide full branded uniform services to dance and theatre schools.
They are also stockists of Shades Dancewear, an inclusive Nottingham-based dancewear brand.
They are holding a Grand Opening Party on the 3 and 4 June between 12 pm and 4 pm each day which will include prize giveaways, special offers, face painting and more!
All are welcome to attend and they look forward to seeing as many people as possible on the day, with cake provided by their neighbour Tiffin Tea House.
