A power supply issue was identified on 27 February at the park which houses around 50 vans.
A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said:
‘Officers were called to attend the Gamston Caravan Park in relation to issues identified relating to the power supply to several plots there.
‘Following information received, we are investigating reports of unlawful extraction of electricity and our investigation into this matter is ongoing.
‘Anyone with additional information is asked to call 101 quoting incident 578 of February 27 2025.’
As previously reported, residents at Gamston Caravan Park were supported by Rushcliffe Borough Council(RBC) and partners following an electricity outage at the site.
