There are lots of street parties taking place in West Bridgford, including a huge one in Central Avenue.
Many residents spotted this Platinum Jubilee knitted post box topper on Tudor Square.
In line with the national The Big Jubilee Lunch, from 11am to 4pm picnic benches will line Central Avenue which will be closed to traffic, inviting families, groups and individuals to bring their own picnic.
An entertainment programme will then give the crowds plenty to sing-a-long to and enjoy on the street, adjacent Croquet Lawn or mini stage, including:

- Comedy waiters

- Juicy Titbits -The Gossips! 1950s housewives’ humour
- Punch and Judy
- Comedy maypole
- Morris dancers
