West Bridgford Remembers – Mayor Cllr Andy Brown led the community and dignitaries in a two minute silence on Central Avenue today.
Armistice Day 11 November is to remember all those lost in conflict.
Cllr Brown said:
“This year as with every year it is so important that we pay our respects for our Armed Forces and their families, and remember all who have paid the ultimate sacrifice in serving their country, not just those lost in World Wars 1 and 2 but sadly in more recent conflicts.”
