Owing to the Coronavirus pandemic all the RNLI (Lifeboats) fund raising activities
were suspended in April this year, and the West Bridgford Branch has had to cancel
its annual indoor Autumn Fair (which usually raises over £1000).
Street collections are also suspended, meaning there has been no income since that time, but Lifeboats have still been going out to sea to save lives.
Lifeguards have been kitted out with new PPE and are patrolling the UK beaches and have been in action keeping coastal visitors safe.
See them all in action when the series Saving Lives At Sea returns at 8pm on BBC 2 Thurs 17th Sept.
The Autumn Fair may have been cancelled, but during the morning of Saturday 3rd
October 2020 the West Bridgford Branch will have a stall on the Croquet Lawn in
Central Avenue where you can safely make a much-needed donation, credit/debit cards
will gladly be accepted.
Please pay a visit and help the RNLI to continue saving lives at sea, or just to say hello.
If you cannot attend but would like to make a donation you can do so via
