White Rabbit in Tudor Square has announced its immediate closure.
The tea and cake shop opened in the town in 2018.
Owner Frances Russell announced the news on Friday 16 May in a statement:
‘It’s with a heavy heart that I write this post, and over the weekend I’ll explain a little more.
‘But sadly, today will be our final day trading in West Bridgford. For now I wanted to share a few special memories and to express my gratitude and thanks to all of our customers.
‘It has been a pleasure to have been a part of this community, and for a long time I will feel very lost without it.
‘It has been a crazy seven years, full of highs & lows. But I am so proud of all that was achieved, despite many set backs.
‘Please stop by today if you get a chance, and remember that our City Centre Teahouse remains open.’
The shop is in the market and under offer.
