West Bridgford’s Stalls Market is held on the Croquet Lawn monthly, Storm Darragh has led to a one inside at Rushcliffe Arena.
Virender Rose one of the organisers said:
‘It’s been an interesting day here at The Stalls HQ.
‘We’ve moved like the wind, made some phone calls, and measured out pitches with odd trainers left at a door! Oh yes, we’ve got some stories to tell from today’s market organising malarkey.
‘We’re moving indoors to Rushcliffe Arena for our markets on 7 and 8 December. Why, you may ask? Well, it’s the wind mainly.
‘Our traders and visitors are priceless to us, so we’ve decided that we can’t cancel, as makers have been making, foodies have been prepping, and livelihoods need to be maintained.
‘So come join us indoors at Rushcliffe Arena, Rugby Road, West Bridgford. There’s free parking and talented people waiting to see you. We’re in the main reception area! Yes, I know, that lovely warm space! No heated gilets needed here! Yes, The Stalls Indoors. Oh, how exciting.’
