A group of West Bridgford residents have working with the charity SewaDay to collect Christmas presents for homeless and vulnerable people this year.
SewaDay, the West Bridgford Community Helpers group and local residents totalling over 70 people have been busy putting together over 800 boxes to go out in time for Christmas.
The youngest volunteer was just 4 years old!
Hetvi Parekh, who has been leading on the project with Sewa Day says “This has been a huge co-ordinated effort from all the ‘Santa’s elves’ who have been helping us.
“Thank you so much to all the donors, schools and businesses who have donated to this, it is fantastic.’
