Motorists and pedestrians in West Bridgford will be affected by temporary disruptions as Cadent Gas is set to carry out essential gas disconnection works on Melton Road.
The project will commence on Monday, September 11, 2023, and is expected to finish by Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
24-Hour Operations
The work will be ongoing around the clock, affecting the area where Melton Road joins with Devonshire Road.
Traffic Management Measures
To manage traffic flow, three-way signal systems will be in place during the operation.
Additionally, a provisional pedestrian crossing will be established to facilitate foot traffic.
Road Closure Alert
As part of the works, Carnarvon Road at its junction with Melton Road will be temporarily closed to vehicle traffic. Residents and commuters are advised to plan their routes accordingly to avoid delays.
