Mud Crab ( Wild Vine ) in Central Avenue has closed its West Bridgford restaurant.

The bar and restaurant rebranded in November 2017 to Wild Vine, but kept the large Mud Crab sign on the premises too.

Wild Vine described itself as ‘A venue that serves a classic crowd pleaser menu (who doesn’t like a homemade pie or beer battered crispy fish & chips) modern dishes with inspired ingredients & flavours.’

We contacted the head office for the business who confirmed that it has closed down permanently, but with no further details.

There is no sign on the door, no thanking local people for their custom – nothing at all to suggest closure.

The building was originally built as a restaurant called Felicini, then became Mud Crab, and eventually was rebranded to Wild Vine.

Its the third business closure announced this week in West Bridgford, with Winkworth estate agents closing, and Real Clothing announcing they will close down next week.
