The YouNG Project, run by Trent Bridge Community Trust, is bringing back its summer market and it’s expected to be better than ever!
The market, which will consist entirely of young people selling their own handmade crafts and goods will be on display on Central Avenue in West Bridgford, in partnership with Rushcliffe Borough Council’s Taste of Rushcliffe Food Festival.
There will be plenty of stallholders to choose from, with items being sold varying from sweets to homemade gift boxes all of which will be based at the very hub of West Bridgford; Central Avenue between 11am-4pm on Saturday, July 13, 2019.
There will be a diverse range of local young performers that will be on stage entertaining Rushcliffe throughout the day, with performances starting every half hour from 11am.
One of the highlight acts is former YouNG ambassador, the 2017 winner of the Nottingham Young Black Achievers Awards and Vale’s Got Talent semi-finalist, Vanessa Iheama, who will be supported by a group from Stagecoach, an electric guitarist who is guaranteed to keep your attention and a surprise act who is going to keep the audience waiting and remain an enigma until their unveiling.
Along with several culinary contributors across the borough and a multitude of promising performers, there is also going to be numerous family-friendly activities and games, such as spin the wheel where you have a chance to score points and test your luck, a family photo board where unforgettable memories are created and more.
