Wind e-scooters launch safety and training event for the public on Victoria Embankment

Wind Mobility, the e-scooter sharing company operating the trial scheme in Nottingham, is organising a safety event to educate users on safe riding practices and parking rules for Wind e-scooters.

The event will take place on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 between 12:00pm and 3pm at the Victoria Embankment.

The local team of Wind Mobility will be on the ground with a number of Wind e-scooters and everyone interested can stop by and learn more about the vehicle, its safety features and how to ride and park scooters in a safe and responsible manner in Wind’s very own riding school.

The local Wind team will also be handing out safety equipment and everyone can stop by and take a scooter for a test ride. Our team also provides useful information on how to safely ride e-scooters especially during the autumn and winter season.

“These events are part of our commitment to the people of Nottingham and Nottingham City Council to ensure the safety of the e-scooter trial and to educate users about safe riding and responsible parking.

“We frequently remind users to stay off the pavement and to only park scooters in the designated parking bays.

“The in-person events that are to be held on a regular basis in Nottingham complement our user education efforts via the Wind app and through our social media channels and we genuinely invite everyone to stop by this Wednesday and join us.”
