Wizardry and witchcraft lessons at Nottingham Castle for Halloween

On Sunday 31 October, you can also visit the official Ghostbusters car from It’s In Nottingham.

Budding Harry Potters, Gandalfs or Sabrinas are invited to celebrate the spooky season at a host of activities taking place at Nottingham Castle from Friday 29 October to Sunday 31 October.

Abramelin and his mystical friends will be onsite every day from 10am to 5pm to teach youngsters the art of wizardry and witchcraft – all as part of the general ticket admission price.

Children can also conjure up an art and crafts storm in the Castle’s Art Gallery with the opportunity to create paper bats and pumpkins.

On Sunday 31 October, you can also visit the official Ghostbusters car from It’s In Nottingham.

The Ecto-1 will be on show for free at the Gatehouse with no ticket required to ensure any apparitions discovered in the grounds are under control.

Alex Broughton, marketing and communications manager, at Nottingham Castle, said: “It’s so exciting to see the Castle grounds brought to life with live events again and to celebrate autumn.

“Summer was a busy time, and we exceeded our visitor number targets, so it’s great to be able to put on even more events to welcome people back this season. We strongly advise booking tickets in advance to ensure that everyone gets enough time with Abramelin to become a wizarding or witching pro.”
