Woman arrested after reports that a man was attacked with bottle and stabbed with scissors

A woman has been arrested after a report that a man was hit over the head with a bottle and stabbed with scissors during a disturbance in Stapleford.

Police were called to an address in the Braddon Avenue area shortly before 2.30am today (Thursday 26 March 2020).

Offices were on scene within minutes and a short time later they arrested a 27-year-old woman on suspicion of wounding with intent.

The victim went to the Queen’s Medical Centre for treatment. His injuries are not currently believed to be life-threatening.
