A 35-year-old woman has been arrested at Holyhead ferry port in connection with the discovery of drugs at an address in Beeston.
The woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class B drug following a joint operation involving Nottinghamshire Police and North Wales Police.
The investigation follows the discovery of what police described as a large quantity of Mamba, a synthetic cannabinoid, at an address in Boughton Street in May this year.
Police received information that a suspect linked to the investigation would be returning from a trip to Ireland and arranged for officers to attend the ferry port.
Border Force officers detained the woman as she disembarked. Police then arrested her and transported her to Nottinghamshire.
She was later released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.
