Police investigating the assault of a woman on a busy street are asking for additional witnesses to come forward.
The woman, aged in her 40s, was attacked near the Sainsbury’s Local store in Derby Road, Lenton, at around 11.40pm on Saturday 24 June.
A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault and later released on bail.
The victim did not require hospital treatment.
Detective Sergeant Steven Willetts, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was an upsetting incident for the victim and we are working to establish exactly what happened.
“As part of our enquires we’d like to speak to any drivers who may have been passing through the area at around the time of the assault – particularly those who may have dashcam footage of what happened.
“So if you were driving in the area at the time and perhaps noticed an altercation between a man and a woman, please check any footage you may have and let us know immediately.”
