A woman is due to appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court today Saturday 17 October, charged in connection with a stabbing.
Madeline McHugh, 35, from New Basford, is charged with wounding with intent.
The charge relates to a report of a stabbing that was made to police on Friday 16 October.
A man in his 30s is in hospital for treatment of serious injuries and remains in a stable condition following the incident.
Detective Sergeant Sarah Jackson, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was an isolated incident that we have investigated tirelessly since it was reported to us.
“As a force, Nottinghamshire Police takes weapon-enabled offences extremely seriously and we will thoroughly investigate any incidents reported to us.”
McHugh has been remanded in custody pending her court appearance today.
