Emergency services are at the scene of the incident in Nottingham.
A trentbarton spokesperson said: “There was an incident involving a female pedestrian and a red arrow. Our thoughts are with the woman involved. Our teams are attending to support the red arrow driver who alertly stopped very quickly. We will of course help the police and other authorities as they look into what happened.”
The incident occurred at the junction of Canning Circus and Wollaton Street city-bound.
Police were called to the scene at 9:13 am on 17th May.
It is not clear if the pedestrian has been injured.
Nottingham Travelwise said at 9:20 am:
‘RTC involving bus and pedestrian Wollaton Street at ‘junction with Canning Circus in bound. Lane 1 of 2 is blocked. Allow extra time for your journey.
‘One lane blocked and queueing traffic due to accident , a bus involved on A610 Alfreton Road Southbound near The Overdraught pub. Congestion to Midnight Pharmacy.’
