SIX Word War II mortar bombs found in Rushcliffe village

The items, believed to be mortar bombs from Second World War, were uncovered by a building company in land off the A60 at around 12.30pm today (Thursday 7 December 2017).

Officers attended along with the bomb disposal unit to make sure the area was safe and the devices were safely removed.
