Police say that a man was arrested after a young woman was injured in a crash.
Emergency services were called shortly after 11pm yesterday (Sunday) after a car left the road and collided with a tree on the A60 between Bradmore and Bunny.
A 20-year-old woman, believed to be a passenger in the car, suffered head, back and chest injuries and was taken to hospital.
A 25-year-old man was arrested at the scene on suspicion of drink driving and was also treated in hospital after suffering an injury to his arm.
Inspector Paul Whitehead, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “This was a serious collision and we are working hard to understand exactly what happened.
“To this end we ask that any witnesses who saw what happened to contact us on 101 quoting incident 734 of 16 January.”
