13-year-old girl attacked in McDonald’s

Police have released an image of a person they wish to trace after a 13-year-old girl was attacked in McDonald’s in Clumber Street, Nottingham.

The incident happened at around 5.30pm on Saturday 24 May.

Police said:

‘The 13-year-old victim was sitting at a table with friends when she was approached by a group.
One member of the group threw a soft drink in her face and then dragged her to the floor, causing significant bruising to her arms and legs and swelling around her eye.

‘The group left the scene when police arrived.

‘Our officers have carried out a number of lines of inquiry to identify the person responsible.

‘We have released an image of a person that could help us with our investigation and are calling on the public’s help to identify them.’

PC Roger Weir said: “This incident has caused the victim a great deal of distress and we are determined to find the person responsible.

“We have released an image of a person that could us with our inquiries and are calling on the public’s help to identify them.

“Do you know the person in the image? Are you the person in the image? Please get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
