Three teenagers were arrested after a boy was attacked on a Nottingham bus.
Officers were called after the victim was reportedly approached by a group of youths as he travelled into Nottingham from Strelley on Monday 26 February.
The 14-year-old boy was then punched in the face and his mobile phone snatched. The group then fled the bus via its emergency exits.
Police were called and three teenage boys, aged 13, 14 and 15, were arrested a short time later on suspicion of robbery.
All three have been bailed while inquiries continue.
Response officer PC Feron Thomas, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“This was a nasty incident and I am pleased three suspects were swiftly arrested.
“Violent disorder of this nature will not be tolerated, and we will always do everything we can to quickly investigate reports and apprehend suspects.”
