Police are currently at the scene of an assault in Nottingham city centre.
Police said:
‘Emergency services were called to George Street at 5.51pm after a 16-year-old boy sustained two stab wounds.
‘He was treated at the scene by paramedics and taken by ambulance to hospital.
‘His injuries are not believed to be life threatening or life altering in nature, and his family has been made aware.

‘An investigation into what happened is continuing and additional witnesses are asked to call 101 or Crimestoppers quoting incident 556 of 14 January 2026.’
