“Whilst I appreciate 200 plants might not seem a lot to some, please consider the bigger picture and the issues drugs bring to an area, our communities deserve better.

“Myself and my team are committed to creating a safer area to live for all and sending out the message we will not tolerate this behaviour, whether that be dealing with people for one plant or 3,000. The occupant arrested had also bypassed electricity in this case which is extremely dangerous to neighbouring houses.

“We are very pleased with the outcome of todays warrant and would encourage anyone who suspects criminal activity to report it to us on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously”.

All plants and equipment at the address have been removed and will be destroyed.
