Do you want to lend your skills to a local independent charity that strives to change the lives of homeless, vulnerable and isolated adults in Nottingham?
Do you have time to dedicate on a regular or one-off basis?
Do you want to gain experience in support work, customer service, retail, marketing or administration?
Emmanuel House is always looking for volunteers to join its team and help it to deliver the service, both working directly with beneficiaries or ‘behind the scenes’ of the organisation.
A spokesperson said:
‘Volunteers are incredibly important to Emmanuel House. As an organisation, we pride ourselves on offering a wide range of opportunities to people from across the local community. For many, volunteering may be about gaining new skills, getting back into work or giving something back to those in need.
‘People volunteering in Emmanuel House may be students or retired, own their own businesses, want volunteering experience that relates to work, come from different cultural and faith backgrounds or have some have impairments whether physical or relating to their emotional health. We make reasonable adjustments to accommodate volunteers with a disability.’
