Highways England opened the lane this morning – but closed it again to install better signs.
Highways England said at 10 am 13 March:
‘We opened a second lane eastbound with a weight restriction earlier.
‘With some ignoring it we’ve decided to close it again while we install extra signage.
‘We appreciate your cooperation and patience – everybody’s safety is our priority.’
