Tram services affected by Bulwell rail crossing incident

NET trams are reporting no service between Moor Bridge Road and Bulwell.

A person has been hit by a train at Bulwell Crossing.

NET said at 7:20 am Friday 13 November:

‘We have no service between Moor Bridge and Bulwell on the Hucknall / Toton Lane Line. NCT Turquoise Buses (79, 79A, 79B) are accepting our tickets and passes.

The NCT bus stops are located at:

• Moor Bridge-Lawton Drive, Hucknall Lane
• Bulwell Forest-Squires Avenue/Hucknall Lane
• Bulwell-Bulwell Bus station
• Royal Centre-Upper Parliament Street stop U3 heading towards Moor Bridge, Tollhouse Hill if arriving in Nottingham

Customers travelling from Hucknall or Butler’s Hill towards Toton Lane will need to alight at Moor Bridge to use the bus at Lawton Drive to travel to Bulwell bus station.

It’s a short walk over the road to connect with Trams which will then run from Bulwell towards Toton Lane. The bus also stops in the city centre at Tollhouse Hill or Maid Marian Way.

Customers travelling northbound beyond Bulwell towards Hucknall will need to alight and get the bus from Bulwell Bus Station to Lawton Drive which is near to the Moor Bridge tram stop. A shuttle service is running from Moor Bridge to Hucknall.
