Police are at the scene of an incident on Victoria Embankment in Nottingham.
A cordon has been placed around a large section of the banks of the River Trent on the Nottingham side near to the coffee shop.

Forensic markers have been placed at various locations and specialist officers are carrying out a scan of the area.
Red marker flags are marking out a ‘corridor’ area along the bank towards on officer standing at the river side of the police cordon.

No other emergency vehicles have been reported to be at the scene.
A police forensic collision investigation van is also parked nearby.

Images at 12 noon – earlier more police vehicles and officers were seen to be at the location.
