Police want to speak to these people following reports a group with rifles trespassed on a building site.
Two members of the group were reportedly carrying firearms – believed to be air rifles – during the incident.
This reportedly happened on private land, just off Winthorpe Road, Newark, around 6.55pm on 13 September.
Our Neighbourhood officers have been trying to trace those involved since then and can now release these two pictures.
PC Eden Sisson said: “For obvious reasons, the sighting of any firearm can cause considerable alarm.
“While we understand the ones spotted in this incident were air rifles, this is still a serious incident that needs to be investigated.
“On that note, we believe the two people pictured could have information that could really assist our ongoing inquiries.
“Bearing this in mind, we’d ask them to make themselves known to us, so that we could ask them a couple of questions.
“We’d also appeal to anyone who recognises them to get in touch with the police and let us know who they are.”
