Police have released images of a man they wish to speak to in connection with an assault that took place in a city centre venue.
The incident occurred at around 10.30pm on 20 December 2025 in The Loxley in Pelham Street.
The victim, a 36-year-old man, was knocked unconscious and left with swelling to the face after the assault.
Officers have been reviewing CCTV footage and carrying out other local inquiries following the incident.
They believe the individual in the images may be able to assist with their investigation.

Sergeant Abby Montgomery, of Nottinghamshire Police, said:
“We are eager to speak to the person pictured and would urge anyone who recognises him, or who may know any details that can help, to get in touch.
“We understand that these images are not of the best quality, but we believe that someone could recognise him by his distinctive jumper.”
Those with information are urged to call the police on 101 quoting incident number 620 of 20 December 2025.
