Asda is recalling a batch of its Exceptional by ASDA Beer Battered Cod Fishcakes because of the possible presence of plastic or metal.
The recall affects 290g packs with the barcode 5063089988296 and use-by dates of 1 May, 2 May, 3 May, 4 May and 5 May.
No other use-by dates are affected.
The supermarket says customers who have bought the affected fishcakes should not eat them and should return them to their nearest Asda store for a full refund. A receipt is not needed.
The recall notice says the product is being withdrawn because of the possible presence of plastic or metal foreign body contamination.
