Officers made an unexpected triple discovery while recovering an abandoned bike.
Drugs, a knuckleduster and a stolen motorbike were all seized by the county priority tasking team.
That’s after they were called to Brierley Forest Park, Sutton-in-Ashfield, around 12.30pm on 5 March.
Having originally attended to retrieve a motorbike from the field, officers spotted a man on another bike acting suspiciously.
When he then tried to ride away from the scene, police took after him and managed to detain a suspect soon after.
Around 180 wraps of heroin and cocaine, as well as several mobile phones, would all go on to be found nearby.
A knuckleduster and large quantities of cash were also discovered by the officers in attendance.

The motorbike was also seized and – following checks – was confirmed to have been reported stolen.
Suspect Corben Pearson was later charged with possessing with intent to supply Class A drugs and possessing an offensive weapon.
The 18-year-old was additionally charged with handling stolen goods and various driving offences too.
Pearson, of Brierley Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield, was remanded into custody during a 7 March appearance at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court.
He is next due to appear before Nottingham Crown Court on 2 April.

“Having initially been called about a relatively low-level report, my officers reacted superbly when this escalated.
“Their response to this developing incident ultimately resulted in large quantities of Class A drugs and a knuckleduster being taken off the streets.
“We were also able to recover a stolen motorbike, while charging a suspect in the process, so this proved to be a great job all-round.”
