Appeal after 11-year-old boy dies in Derby collision

Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage after a fatal collision in Derby.

The collision, which involved a bus, a car and a cyclist, occurred in Nottingham Road just before 6.45pm on Friday 17 April.

The cyclist, an 11-year-old boy, suffered serious injuries and died in hospital.

His family are aware and are being supported by specialist officers. Our thoughts are with them at this time.

No arrests have been made.
