Police and emergency services are currently in attendance at a three-vehicle road traffic collision on Mansfield Road, Ravenshead.
Police said:
‘Road closures are in place between Forest Lane and Kighill Lane after officers were called just before 6pm this evening.
‘Motorists are advised to avoid the area and find alternative routes as the road is expected to remain closed for some time.
‘Thank you for your patience as we work with our emergency service colleagues to deal with this incident.’
Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service said:
‘We’re currently in attendance at a road traffic collision on Mansfield Road, just south of Ravenshead.
‘This is a multi-vehicle collision and the road is expected to be closed, both ways, for some time.
‘Please plan your routes accordingly and, importantly, the public are asked to avoid the area whilst the emergency services do their work.’
