Police appeal after A52 crash leaves man with life-threatening injuries

A 30-year-old man remains in hospital with life-threatening injuries following a serious collision on the A52.

Police said investigations are continuing after the crash, which led to the road being closed between the Gamston Lock roundabout and the A46 Saxondale roundabout on Friday 15 May.

The route linking Nottingham, Gamston, Radcliffe-on-Trent and the A46, was shut while collision investigation work took place. It reopened shortly after midnight on Saturday 16 May.

A 67-year-old man also suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital.

Police thanked members of the public for their patience and understanding while emergency services dealt with the incident and investigation work was carried out.

Anyone with information is asked to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 68 of 15 May.
