The day will start dry and sunny, with temperatures around 18°C at 5am, rising to 19°C by 6am, 21°C by 7am and 23°C by 8am. The chance of rain remains below 5% throughout the early morning. Winds will be light, mainly from the south-west and south-south-west at around 2 to 3 mph, with gusts between 7 and 8 mph.
Midday
By late morning and lunchtime, conditions will remain sunny, dry and increasingly hot. Temperatures will rise from 25°C at 9am to 27°C at 10am, 29°C at 11am and 30°C by midday. The chance of rain stays below 5%. Winds will remain light from the south-south-west at around 3 to 4 mph, with gusts increasing to around 14 mph by midday.
Afternoon
The afternoon is expected to bring the hottest conditions of the day, with temperatures reaching 32°C from 1pm to 3pm before easing slightly to 31°C by 4pm. Sunny spells will continue, although some cloud may develop early in the afternoon and the chance of rain rises to 20% at 1pm, 40% at 2pm and 3pm, and 50% by 4pm. Winds will shift from south-westerly to westerly and then north-north-westerly, increasing to around 8 mph, with gusts up to 22 mph.
Evening
The evening will remain warm, but temperatures will gradually fall from 30°C at 5pm to 29°C at 6pm, 26°C at 7pm and 24°C by 8pm. The chance of rain decreases from 30% in the early evening to 20% at 7pm, 10% at 8pm and below 5% later. Clear skies are expected overnight, with temperatures falling to 22°C at 9pm, 20°C at 10pm and 18°C by 11pm. Winds will become north-easterly, around 10 to 12 mph at first, easing slightly later.
