Council leader statement on third anniversary of the Nottingham attacks

A statement from Nottingham City Council Leader, Councillor Neghat Khan.

Cllr Khan said:

‘Today marks three years since the devastating attacks in Nottingham that took the lives of Ian Coates, Grace O’Malley-Kumar, and Barnaby Webber.

‘On behalf of Nottingham City Council and the people of our city, we express our deepest condolences to their families, friends, loved ones, and all those whose lives were forever changed by that day.

‘Whilst this anniversary remains a moment of profound reflection and sadness, it is also a moment to acknowledge the extraordinary strength and dignity shown by the families, and the compassion and solidarity shown by our city in the face of unimaginable loss.
