Police statement after woman reportedly raped in Nottingham’s Lace Market area

Police are investigating after a young woman was reportedly raped in Nottingham city centre.

Nottinghamshire Police said officers were called to the Adams Walk area at 2.46am on Saturday, June 13, following reports of the incident.

The woman is being supported by officers while inquiries continue.

A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said: “We were called at 2.46am on Saturday to the Adams Walk area of Nottingham city centre after reports that a young woman had been raped.

“She is being supported by officers and investigations are ongoing.”
