A man in his 20s was taken to hospital after the assault in Bridgford Road ( Library ) Car Park on Saturday evening.
A Nottinghamshire Police spokesperson said:
“Officers were called to the car park of West Bridgford Library at 7.36pm on Saturday (22 August) following reports that a man in his 20s had been assaulted by a group of youths.
“The victim was taken to hospital for treatment after being repeatedly kicked and punched. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering. No weapons were seen during the incident.
“An investigation is ongoing, with officers reviewing CCTV footage and taking witness statements as part of their enquiries.
“Anyone with information that could assist the investigation is asked to call 101, quoting incident 589 of 22 August 2026.”
