Early morning
Rain and showers are expected through much of the morning, with the chance of precipitation at around 60% at 5am and 6am, rising to 70% at 7am.
Temperatures will remain close to 15C, although it will feel nearer 13C to 14C.
Winds will be from the west-south-west at around 9 to 11mph, with gusts already reaching around 30 to 31mph.
Midday
Conditions should begin to brighten from late morning, although showers remain possible.
The chance of rain falls to 20% at 10am before rising again to 30% at 11am, 50% at midday and 60% at 1pm.
Temperatures reach around 17C, but it will feel closer to 15C.
Winds strengthen through lunchtime, with gusts increasing to around 35 to 37mph.
Afternoon
Showers should become increasingly isolated during the afternoon.
The chance of rain falls to 40% at 2pm and just 10% by 3pm and 4pm, with some brighter or sunny spells developing.
Temperatures remain around 17C before slipping to 16C by 4pm.
It will stay windy, with westerly winds around 13 to 15mph and gusts peaking at about 37mph early in the afternoon.
Evening
The evening begins mostly dry, with some brighter spells and temperatures around 16C at 5pm.
The chance of rain increases again to 30% at 5pm, 50% at 6pm and 60% at 7pm, before easing later in the evening.
Temperatures fall steadily from 16C at 5pm to around 11C by 11pm.
Winds ease somewhat but remain noticeable from the west and west-south-west, with gusts still around 25mph late in the evening.
